Let us know if you want to help organize BarCamp Swaziland 2010!

We are working right now on setting a date for BarCamp Swaziland in 2010!  We would love to do it in June 2010, right around the time of the World Cup in South Africa and the big Swaziland music festival, Bush Fire!  Please let us know if you would like to help us organize the next BarCamp Swaziland……post a comment or email jennifer@youthassets.org

Discussion at BarCamp Ghana

Discussion at BarCamp Ghana

BarCamp Swaziland was inspired about learning about other innovative technology “unconferences” on the African continent.

BarCamp Johannesburg was held 11 October 2008 and had a wide range and fun list of tech discussions!

Check out BarCamp Ghana which was held in Accra on 22 December 2008. You can also see an interview with Nii Simmonds on the BarCamp Africa site, one of the organizers of BarCamp Ghana, and African blogger.

BarCamp Nigeria was most recently held 25 April 2009.  Check out the interview with organizer Tim Akinbo, one of the organizers.

And Kaushal Jhalla of BarCamp Africa – which was organized in Silicon Valley in the United States – is lending a hand with BarCamp Swaziland!  Thanks – and excited to have the first BarCamp in Swaziland!
